The immortality elixir you don’t have to travel up distant mountains to reach.
The art of brewing kombucha or “the immortality elixir” has been around for centuries , over 2000 years in fact! Once you start experimenting with all the flavour combinations you can really see why everyone is raving about Kombucha.
What did you just call me?
Never heard of Kombucha Tea? Never Tried it?? Let me tell you, your missing out on something fabulous! With its incredible nutritional benefits, probiotic goodness and its delicious light fizz this amazing versatile drink should be on the tip of everyone lips! Pronunciation of this word is harder than brewing it I promise (pronounced kom-BOO-cha)
How good is this stuff really?
Well apart from being amazing boost for the immune system, this boastful drink has also been reported to help digestive functions, relieve joint pain, clear the skin, aid hair growth, fix sleep issues, and even cure cancer. With its nutritional qualities full of B & C Vitamins, Antioxidants, Amino, Lactic and other beneficial acids, its easy to see why everyone is drinking this delicious tonic. It does contain very minute traces of caffeine, sugar and alcohol ( 0.05% or less) but also contains powerful enzymes that actually help us to break down sugar (Lactase and Invertase)

Mix and Match your favourite flavour infusions…. Some of my favourite combos are:
- Lemon and Vanilla (Vanilla and anything!)
- Cucumber and Mint
- Hibiscus and Honey
But you must remember to……
Never add your infusions in with the scoby. Wait until your mother brew is ready and pour it into good quality glass bottles then add the infusions. Never use inferior plastics or any metals when processing your Kombucha. And last but not least, not only is the taste explosive, but there is a very slight chance bottles may explode as the gases expand (in my many years of brewing this has never happened to me, but technically, it could happen)
